Ideal for keeping the dog smelling fresh between baths, or to make your dog smell nice at home or in the car.

WashBar 100% Natural Daily Spritzers aren’t just perfumes or colognes – they’re a coat freshener, deodorant & a flea repellent.

What’s really different about the Washbar spritzers is they are genuinely 100% natural.

There’s no alcohol in them to irritate sensitive skin and everything in the bottle is directly derived from a plant, or pure, clean water from New Zealand.

Controlling fleas is an ongoing problem for all animal owners. 100% Natural Flea+Freshen Spritzer is an excellent product in your toolkit to keep fleas away.

It is so natural that you can spray it directly on your dog, into your dogs bedding, in the car, around your home, on furniture, anywhere your dog sleeps. This product leaves a fresh woodland fragrance and keeps fleas away.

Spritzers are easy to use – shake bottle and spray liberally onto your animals’ coat - one or two squirts for a very small dog up to 6 squirts or more for a big 60kg+ dog. It’s totally safe, you can’t overdo it.

If your dog is nervous about being sprayed with something, spray into your hands and gently rub through their coat. Very safe to use for pet owners who suffer from allergies or irritations as the ingredients are all natural.

You can also use this flea+freshen minty woodland deodorant spray on your dog’s bedding or in the car to mask that active dog smell. Or the dog that just rolled in something dead or swam in a swamp smell.

Flea+Freshen - This is a multi-use fragrance for your dog. It’s also suitable for use on dogs, cats and other small pets like rabbits, rats or guinea pigs.

Spritzer Ingredients: Water, Manuka & Kanuka Hydrosol, Neem Oil, Pure Essential Oils of Cedarwood, Rosemary, Lemongrass, Thyme and Peppermint.

Essential oils of Cedarwood, Rosemary, Lemongrass, Thyme and Peppermint are the concentrated vital essence of aromatic plants.

All our essential oils are extracted using the steam distillation method. We source as many oils as we can directly from organic or chemical free growers the rest come from one of the leading suppliers of essential oils for professional use across the world.

All the oils are checked for purity and authenticity and are human grade pure essential oils. Whilst that might seem ‘over the top’ we do it because a great deal of essential oils that are available have been adulterated with cheap oils and on sold as pure.

Washbar uses essential oils for their healing bio-actives and the natural fragrance they bring to the mix.

Hydrosol is the liquid left behind in the steam distillation process that creates essential oils. We use genuine hydrosols which contain the very essence of everything that was contained within the plant when it was still alive and growing. We only use 100% genuine natural hydrosol in our products.

Many hydrosols are manufactured by blending essential oil in water and using an emulsifier (often synthetic) to stop the oil separating out. These do not have the same properties as genuine hydrosols.

Manuka hydrosol (Leptospermum scoparium) & Kanuka hydrosol (Kunzea ericoides) - Both Manuka and Kanuka were used extensively by both the indigenous Maori people of New Zealand and early European settlers as medicinal plants. This iconic New Zealand native shrub has natural antibacterial, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and antihistamine properties.

Laboratory test results have shown the hydrosol and oil Washbar use to be extremely effective against a wide range of common bacteria. They source theirs from the East Cape of New Zealand where it is wild harvested because research has shown plants grown in this area have the strongest actives.

The hydrosol is sourced from a NZ BioGro certified organic grower in the Coromandel Peninsular in New Zealand.

Neem (Azadirachta Indica) - In India Neem is known as the pharmacy tree.  A huge amount of research has been done on Neem.

It shows that Neem is an effective anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, antibacterial and insecticidal agent.  It also reduces redness and itching of irritated skin and is a natural insect repellent for ‘biting and sucking’ insects like fleas, ticks and lice.

Neem oil has many complex active bioactives. It has been used for thousands of years as a natural insecticide – to neutralise and repel pests including fleas, lice, ticks and mites. It neutralises pests by rendering them useless, they stop functioning, forgetting to eat, breed, lay eggs, fly or even move about. It does all of this whilst still being environmentally safe.

Washbar use neem oil, which is pressed from the seeds of the tree.  They source their neem oil from India where it has been used for over 2,000 year in Ayurvedic (Indian) Medicine. The Neem leaf is organically grown in Australia.
